Though that scripture is clear and unambiguous it has been ignored and misinterpreted. That scripture raises important questions answered in this book, such as:
“What is the will of God?”
“How can we find and learn the will of God?”
Another question is,
“Is there continuing conduct that can prohibit us from inheriting the kingdom of God?”
These questions are salvation issues that are answered from Scripture so that we may enter heaven by knowing and doing the will of God. The next verse also quotes the LORD JESUS:
“Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” (Matthew 7:22-23).
How could Jesus call these “super-Christians” evildoers who were never known by Him? After all, they prophesied, drove out demons and performed many miracles in his name. These are salvation issues that are explored and answered from Scripture in this book.
